Hi, I’m Mai, mom to Iris and sister to another Mai, who is the biggest supporter behind Studio Mairis. Our shop is a true family effort, shaped by the people who raised us, Iris who we waited many years for, and the small joys that keep us going.

Mairis is a combination of all our names and a symbol of how closely our lives and creativity are woven together. Studio Mairis is rooted in family, resilience, and the simple joys that crafting has given us in both celebration and hardship. What began as a way to make things that brought us comfort and joy has grown into a space where we can share those pieces with our community.

We care deeply about our family and the communities we’re part of. A portion of proceeds from our community care items will always support local care efforts. That commitment comes from how we were raised. Our late father was a teacher and a lifelong entrepreneur, and every time we create something for this shop, we honor him and the values he passed down to us. His belief in hard work, generosity, and creativity lives in everything we make.

We love creating far more than what’s currently in our shop, and we’re excited to slowly introduce more of our individual and collective ideas as we grow.
